The Wait is Over Mitsubishi Finally Produce Xpanders for Malaysia

For Malaysia customers, your wait for Xpanders crossover is over. Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announced that they soon start production of MPV Expander crossover in Malaysia as the third country after Indonesia and Vietnam. The Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) will cooperate with Hicom Automotive Manufacturers (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. one of the best assembly contractor in Malaysia. Expander for Malaysia will be assembling in Malaysia. The selling process will start from November this year by the executive Mitsubishi dealer in Malaysia.

Expander rated as one of bestseller product from Mitshubishi. Since its launch in Indonesia in 2017, all type of Expender include Expander Cross receive a positive response because it has dauntless looks, comfortable but still have high driving performance is the product excellences. At the end of September 2020, MMC reporting that overall sale for Expander has reached nearly 270,000 units.

At the initial conference for Takao Kato's production, the Chief Executive Officer of MMC said they wanted to bring the Expander produced in Malaysia to meet customer demand. He also said that his party plans to prepare a large factory to produce large-scale expanders in Indonesia. This factory will supply export demand included the Malaysian market. They will import the spare part then the local producers will finish the assembly process. Mitsubishi Motor believes that expanding the production and export sectors will contribute to boosting the economic growth of the countries they accomplish.

In July 2020, reported that MMC putting ASEAN region as the centre of their current Mid-Term Business strategy that runs until FY2022, slowly but sure they believe it can bring beautiful outcome. MMC still look further to develop their production, sales, and partnership with ASEAN country.
