Manila regarded as the "most loving capital city" in the world

According to a study that looked at how often people used affectionate expressions online, Manila was found to be the "most loving capital city in the world."
The Crossword Solver combed through a sample of geotagged tweets from cities all over the world, looking for mentions of "I love you" and its variations like "love u" and "3 u" as well as heart emojis.

Researchers from Manila discovered that for every 100,000 tweets, 1,246 were expressions of affection. Mexico City came in at number 9, followed by Guatemala City, Guatemala (1,224), Luanda, Angola (1,180), Jakarta (974), and Guatemala City, Guatemala (948).

The survey noted that younger generations are known to be more outspoken online and that "love is at the core of most families," adding that both familial and extended family are regarded very important in Filipino society.

The concept of hugot (a Filipino word meaning to show deep emotion) is disseminated among friends, family, and romantic partners via touching quotes, music, and movies, and younger generations are no exception.
